TRE™ | Learn a Gentle, Safe Home Practice for Stress Management & Emotional Regulation
A 2-hour small-group workshop

About this workshop
 This small-group workshop is designed to help you explore TRE™ (Tension, Trauma & Stress Releasing Exercises) in a way that feels safe, clear, and empowering, so you can begin practising gently at home with confidence.
 
TRE™ is a body-based practice that works with the nervous system’s natural tremoring response - an innate reflex that helps release patterns of stress, tension, and over-protection held in the body.
 
This is not about pushing, reliving, or “going deep”.
It’s about learning how to listen to your body, regulate intensity, and stay within choice and control.
 
What we’ll explore together
The evening is structured and paced carefully, with time to settle, learn, experience, and integrate.

You’ll be guided through:
* A down-regulation practice to help the nervous system settle and orient to safety
* A clear explanation of what TRE™ is, how it works, and how to practise responsibly
* The TRE™ exercises, taught gently and progressively
* Time to explore the tremor response, with an emphasis on pacing, pausing, and self-regulation
* Optional sharing and Q&A
* An up-regulation close, so you leave feeling present, grounded, and ready to return to your evening
 
Everything is an invitation. You can stop, rest, or adjust at any point.
 
Is this workshop for you?
This workshop is suitable if you:
 
* Feel stressed, tense, or overwhelmed
* Live with persistent pain or long-held tension
* Find it hard to switch off or fully relax
* Are curious about a gentle, body-based approach to nervous system regulation
* Would like to learn a self-led practice you can return to at home
 
No previous experience is needed. You don’t need to be flexible, fit, or “good at relaxing”.
 
Important notes
* This is an introductory group workshop, not therapy
* Group TRE™ is not recommended for individuals with severe trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, significant dissociation, or difficulty with self-regulation — in those cases, 1:1 sessions are advised
* TRE™ is not suitable during pregnancy or immediately following recent surgery or injury

After the workshop
This session will give you a solid foundation to practise TRE™ gently on your own.
 
Some people are happy to continue independently.
Others choose private sessions for individual pacing, support, or to explore specific patterns — that option is always available, without pressure.

* Please wear comfortable clothing
* Bring a yoga/exercise mat, water, and a blanket & cushion 
* Places are limited to 8 participants to ensure care and attention
